Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining lots of attention. Calvano was born in California and was first interested in gymnastics. Later, however, Calvano determined to pursue an acting career. The first time she appeared on screen was on the screen in 2010 with the CBS show 'NCIS. In the biographical crime drama movie J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen a few months later. Through the years, she established herself as one of the most prestigious young actors working today. She was nominated in the year 2011 for a Young Artist Award in the category of the Best Performance by Young Actresses aged 11-15 for her role on NCIS. She was also nominated in 2013 for an Young Artist Award, this time for her appearance as a guest star on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' it". Calvano was an integral part of the cast of 'Mom' in its the first three seasons. She also made several appearances in the final season. The year 2015 was the year she won the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
